- Enquiry details: name, organisation, role, email, phone and the content of your message, when you use the contact form or email us.
- Business relationship data: names, roles and contact details of client, lender, law firm and other counterparty personnel, and records of our communications.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and pages visited, collected through the website and, where you consent, analytics (see our cookie notice).
We do not knowingly collect special-category data through this website, and the site is not directed at children.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide our advisory services. Basis: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To manage relationships with clients, lenders and other counterparties, including outreach relevant to their business. Basis: legitimate interests.
- To perform contracts and meet legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks where required. Basis: contract; legal obligation.
- To operate, secure and improve the website. Basis: legitimate interests; consent for non-essential cookies.
- To send marketing emails where permitted. You can opt out at any time. Basis: legitimate interests, or consent where required.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only where needed: with service providers acting on our instructions (email, hosting, form handling, analytics, IT support), professional advisers, and, for a specific mandate and with the client’s knowledge, counterparties such as lenders and their counsel. We do not sell personal data. Where a client mandate is confidential, we handle information under the terms agreed with that client.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries and emails sent to us through this website: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed to meet a legal obligation. Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics. Cookie lifetimes are listed in our cookie notice.
7. Your rights
